Question by : How much difference does an HD antenna make?
I have an RCA ant301 antenna that I was using with my 32″ Vizio LCD television. I was able to get all the major networks’ HD channels. (I live in Los Angeles, so I’m real close to all the broadcasting towers.)
I just got a new TV (a 46″ Toshiba Regza), but I’m unable to get any HD channels. The TV tells me the “Signal is too low”. Has this sort of thing happened to anybody? Any suggestions?
I tried using a different antenna (a Philips digital antenna that’s supposedly “Optimized for HDTV”) but it did nothing.

you probly need a hd freeview box to actually pick up the chanels there around £90

3D 24p Cinema Smoother
VIERA incorporates technology that analyzes picture information in both the preceding and succeeding frames, and creates a precise supplementary frame between them. Frame Sequential Technology
Panasonic uses Full-HD Frame Sequential technology to create its 3D images. Images recorded in 1920 x 1080 pixels for both the right-eye and the left-eye alternately flash on the screen at the ultra-high rate of 120 frames per second. When you view the screen through active-shutter glasses that open and close each lens in sync with the alternating images, you see breathtaking FULL HD 3D pictures with stunning power and realism.
Dynamic Contast
By combining the highly light-transmissive IPS Alpha Panel and high-brightness backlight, Panasonic has attained both high contrast and low power consumption. I have this feeling about digital TV and radio. That it is not going to be freely transmitted anymore. See with digital signals they can be controlled or turned “on” and “off”. That is by making the HDTV “addressable”. If you do not pay the “broadcasters” (in the Detroit Metro area, VHF band channels 2, 4, 7, Canada channel 9, plus the UHF channels). HDTV equipment that is digitized can be switched off remotely by the users unique address on the HDTV (digital, if the manufacturer so decided). The sorry thing about that is, you would still be bombarded with commercials anyway. Hold onto your old HDTV, guarantee the new sets will be addressable. Sound like paranoia, I don’t think so? If a buck can be turned big business will find a way to rip a buck more off from you.

well is ok, rear-projection isn’t as good as lcd per example. problem with rea-rprojection is lack of light it produce when comparing to lcd or plasma.
