Question by Mi Muñeca: Hi do I really need “3D-HDTV” if I want to experience 3D movies?
Hi I currently have 52″Sony Bravia HDTV/LCD 1080P 120Hz & my PS3 console to watch Blu-ray movies & play video games. I do want to buy Avatar & Moster vs Aliens on Blu-ray 3D version & buy upgradeing my HDMI cable to a HDMI 1.4 version. My question is do I really need a 3D/HDTV? Thank you.

    The 3D television technology currently being rolled out is called “active shutter.” To watch 3D programming, you need a TV with that new design and the matching special glasses that come with it. Nothing else will work, at least not yet.
